north american carillon school

NACS

With the hiring of Mr. Carlo van Ulft, the Thomas Rees Memorial Carillon also became the headquarters of the North American Carillon School (NACS.) The curriculum of the NACS offers students from around North America, and the English speaking parts of the world, besides studying carillon performance, a variety of parallel courses specific and necessary to carillon education. Most parallel courses can be taken on line.

The NACS offers two nationally recognized certificates/diplomas; the Proficiency Certificate and the Performance Diploma. Students of ages 12 or 13 years of age and up are welcome to take carillon lessons and, once proficient on the carillon, get the chance to play the actual Thomas Rees Memorial Carillon. The Chance of a Life Time!
